So near yet so far,

Happy Niu Year!

Went back to primary school on friday. It was so good to be able to see all the familiar faces again! Didn't stay for long as after cca it was already 3.30pm. Accompanied Shi hui to Junction 8 and I went straight home after that as I had to rush to get ready to meet Claire and the rest at 5pm. Dinner was a treat from Suzanne. She's very sweet I swear. Haha! Watched Love Matters but overall, the show was sort of disappointing. To think that Jack Neo film standard has dropped tremendously. Slacked around Amk Central till 11.30pm. Heart2heart talk with them was great. I can't wait for the next one huns. Caught the last train back to Woodlands.

Watched many many series of drama shows that night, thus I had to cab to Amk Hub for tuition the next day! I start to dread tuition already. The time slots just don't fit. Many of times, so many outings clashes with it. Right after tuition, went to meet them at food court. I kept them waiting for an hour and a half! Northpoint foodcourt for lunch, and then met up with another group of Claire's friends there. All of us then crashed at Claire's place till 6pm. I had to leave shortly after 6pm for reunion dinner at cousin's house. Its glad to see all the 28 of us adults and children to be able to gather together. And of course, the only place which can fit all the 28 of us is Joan's house! Its very big. It reminded me of our childhood times when we used to play hide and seek, sharing secrets together, keeping them from our parents. The four of us were so close. Yet now, its like we're strangers. Can you beat that? Reached home at 1am sharp. I was so tired I, immediately hit the sack the moment I got on my bed.

Had reunion dinner with my mum's side at Crystal Jade the next night. Sure it was sumptuous! Then, slept with cousins at the next block which was one of our aunt and uncle's house as one of our cousins was going back to New York at 5am today. Managed just to get the bare minimum of 4 hours of sleep! Isn't it great Rachel? Everyone headed to send him off at the airport. The collection of angbaos the whole morning! Indeed glad to say, I've got quite a lot. Jealous? Haha! Tonight, everyone's coming to my place for dinner. Guess how much hardwork it'd be to clean the whole place after that! Gosh! Sad to say, there's no pictures for today or yesterday. Pictures for friday night and saturday was sure plentiful! But view it on Claire's private blog. Lazy to upload!

A passing sentiment,

One day, when we are eighty years old, and we see each other in the streets, will you still remember me? Or will you, will you see me, think for a few minutes, and then said out another person's name, for I am nothing but a glancing memory in your recollections of memories? Tell me why, why do I have to forget you? Thats what you're telling me now. We don't have to wait till we're eighty and old. Right now, just right now, I've already felt it. I realised, I was just a passing sentiment in your anthology of memoirs. But I've kept all our memories in my heart. It'd stay there forever.

I'm off to see Claire and some of her friends to catch a movie, then sleeping over at Claire's house.

On a course of collision,

Hectic shopping trip with my 2 aunts and cousins yesterday after church. Practically, I was the only one buying so many things. Haha! But thanks to my 2 aunts, I didn't burn pocket! Swensons at Bugis Junction for lunch, then started the search of new clothes. Then we headed for Plaza Sing. Low kay hwa's newest novel is best. I'm almost 3/4 till ending! Its nice I swear. I'm distracted in class today. Sigh, I couldn't concentrate! After school, headed for Junction 8 with Shi hui, Yilok, and Dillion. They made my day, especially Dillion! I was laughing away like a mad woman serious! I'm going to take a nap. Dead tired.

Fragments left behind,

Two weeks of school has passed. It has most probably been one of my happiest moments so far this year. I had such a terrible gastric yesterday afternoon! I practically felt so sick. I dragged along Shi hui to the food court at Junction 8 to have lunch. It was so much better after having lunch. Spent away almost the whole afternoon at the library after that since we were already late for cca. Guess what happened there! Shi hui got me laughing away at something she said and there was a group of gangsters next to us who happened to think I was laughing at them! And one them came up to me asking for my number. IT WAS SCARY OK Dillion and Jeremy came after that, and we went over to the bubble tea shop for a drink. Met Daryl at bus interchange and all of us headed over to a bbq at Thomson. Laughters and bickerings all night during the bbq. Around 9.30pm, we took a bus back to J8 and had supper at Swensons. Overall, I enjoyed myself to the maximum that day.

Many things has happened within these past few days. All the pain and agony, endless catastrophes, why does everything go back to square one eventually? Cheryl came over to my place this morning and we went over to Yishun to meet Brandon, Aloysius, Nicholas, and Gordon. They smoked, while both of us headed to North Point. Lunch was on Cheryl, and the drinks were on Gordon. I confided in Cheryl so many things and I could still go on and on. There was so much more I wanted to say. But what's with all these emotions? We practically sat at the alley for quite some time. I'm still upset, and I dont feel like going back home. Maybe I'll stay a night or two at her place tomorrow after school. During that time I won't be posting, but still do come back for more updates!

I seriously dread going to school! Why can't the holidays be longer? Why can't time pass slower? Class tests, Semester exams, homework, its seriously using up all my energy! Met up with Shihui at the interchange before we both bused to school. Lessons were quite slack since it was just the first day. Gotta start the studying momentum now before its too late! Don't waste this whole new year alright huns. Till here then!

Happy New Year!

Before you realised it a year has just passed in a blink of an eye. I seriously hope that 2009 will be a better year! Slacked with usual clique at Clarke quay till around 10pm last night and then trained to Marina Bay. Everyone was pushing and rushing to enter for the countdown and stuff. Jaslyn and I got stepped on our feet by 2 guys consecutively! Wonderful performance, fireworks were fabulous. After countdown, we had such a hard time getting a cab that we had to squeeze in the train and all crash at Tiffany's house. The guys went under block to smoke while the girls were in their wonderland. Reached home 8am today. Here's some of the pictures. It was actually a video the guys took but since I didn't take any last night I got them to get some of the parts out. So here they are! Enjoy!
